India tours Australia in 2011 / 2012 for test and T20 series followed by a ODI tri-series also featuring Sri Lanka. The tour starts from 26th December, 2011. As the matches are played in Australia, ESPNStar has the broadcasting rights for India. Doordarsan will not broadcast the test series. The 2011–12 Big Bash League season (previously known as KFC Twenty20 Big Bash)will be the inaugural season of the Big Bash League, the premier Twenty20 cricket competition in Australia. The tournament will be held from 16 December to 28 January 2012.All matches will be played day/night.   The tournament features world’s best players like Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo, Kieron Pollard, Sohail Tanvir, Shahid Afridi, Umar Gul and many more along with the Australian domestic players. Nepal has qualified for semi-final in acc t20 cup.4th team to be qualified was in the hands of UAE vs saudi arabia match.                                                                                                                              For UAE to be qualified they had to :-                                                                                 1) Chase target within 10.1  overs                                                                       2) Beat saudi by more than 71 runs So in a deciding match saudi won the toss and elected to field first.UAE gave target of 169 runs in 20 overs.In reply to big target and well cheered by 5000 nepalese  fan saudi made 115 runs.UAE  win by 53 runs, which lacked enough runs to qualify for the semi final.In this way nepal qualified for semi-final and for ICC T20 selection too.

In a must win match Nepal defeated Saudi Arabia by 95 runs.Saudi arabia won the toss and choose to field first.M Alam batted explosively by which nepal managed to score 183/5 in 20 overs.M Alam scored 88 runs in just  41 balls.In reply to big target saudi also started explosively but wickets felt in quick succession .As a result they were all out for just 88 runs.Nepal win match confidently by 95 runs. In a must win match ,Nepal defeated Kuwait by 1 runs and Kept a hope to Knock in semi-final.Batting first Nepal made 126/6 in 20 overs.In reply to target of 127 Kuwait too responded nicely.But They loose wickets in regular interval .They needed 2 runs in 2 balls with just 1 wicket in hand.Last Batsmen was stumped out leaving a thrilling win for Nepal. West – Indies have kept a ray of hope in the series as they beat india by 20 runs in 3rd ODI held in Ahmedabad.Winning toss west – indies batted first.West –indies start was slow ,but runs flowed in last 10 overs leading them to a total of 259. They collected 43 runs in last two overs. India’s opening batsmen yet another times failed in the series.Skipper sehwag and Gautam gambhir were out for duck.Middle order batsmen also could yield partnership which india needed much.Rohit sharma on the other hand batted brilliantly .He was well supported by jadega and ashwin.Rohit sharma fell short of century and was out for 95.Despite sharma briiliant inning india could not make enough runs to covert to win. Australia have won the 1st test against New Zealand by 9 wickets with still 2 days more to spare.On 3rd day new Zealand continued with overnight score of 10/1 but Australian bowler’s completely wrecked the new Zealand innings.So Australia were given a target of  just 19 runs which they achieved in 2.2 overs.
